Exceptionally Eclectic – Orange & Blue Vintage Home

When Tiffany from La T Dah saw the For Sale sign at the house around the corner, she had to peek inside.

Did the fact that it only had one bathroom – that wasn’t functioning – scare her away?

No way, she scooped up the house and set about transforming it into a fully furnished rental property.

Orange & Blue

Thrift shops, side of the road castoffs and yard sales were Tiffany’s BFF.

This foyer stencil gets extra punch by adding …

1,200 thumbtacks!

And she’s got the numb thumb to prove it!

See how she did it here.

  1. Kelly–this is very cool! LOVE the curtain fabrics. I’d love to be able to have more “fun” with my house, but there are all those crazy rules for historic properties. Thanks for sharing!

  3. That wall is absolutely awesome, I can see myself going a little nuts trying it myself! I’m heading to check how to make a chevron pattern with no measurements…that’s my kind of project.

  4. Kelly,
Tiffany did a great job breathing life and color back into this home. I especially like the vintage look for the kitchen and how the bedroom turned out. Did she get it rented?
    Enjoy this sunny Saturday!

  5. I see a pretty female shadowy figure in the TV. I know, I’m a geek always looking at the background for inspiration.
