Let’s Talk About Homes Baby …
Let’s Talk About Homes Baby
Let’s Talk About all The Good Things
and the Bad Things That May Be
Let’s Talk About Homes …
(sorry for imprinting that horrible Salt-n-Peppa song onto your brain)
But if you haven’t noticed by now,
I really, really, really love my home!
I love talking about it,
renovating it,
decorating it,
relaxing in it,
inviting friends into it,
cleaning it (ok, well maybe not that)!
And I love finding people who share my passion.
Guess what, I found the perfect place to mix, mingle, discuss, chat, question, answer and just overall have a great time talking about my home with a community of hundreds of thousands of like-minded people.
This is just a sampling what’s recently inspired me on Hometalk.

I need this headboard with the fabulous attached sconces in my life – now!
This railing with a built-in vintage window knocks my flip flops off.
This coat rack has my yardstick loving name written all over it.
Thrift shops crates aged with vinegar and attached with old hinges – brilliant!
You know I love junk in my garden and this old funnel fits the bill.
Shutters turned fabulous shelf.
I want to sip lemonade out of blue mason jars on my own chicken coop coffee table.
If you want to join a community that’s the best of Facebook, Pinterst and Angie’s List
all rolled into one, then Hometalk is the perfect place for you (and me!).
It’s simple but if you’ve got questions, read this getting started info.
So hurry over to Hometalk and start talking about homes baby!
Be sure to find me over there so we can chat.
I forgot to mention, Hometalk is for everyone (homeowners, renters, contractors) but as a blogger it’s given me another great place to share my ideas.
When Hometalk featured my Dresser Planter on their Facebook page (they have 392,000 followers!),
it was shared 265 times!
I’m still figuring this out but it looks to be a great resource!! Happy Weekend!

Better junk in your yard than junk in your trunk. I happen to have both, unfortunately. I also happen to have a chicken coop…or lobster trap….haven’t been able to figure out which one it is.
Whoop, whoop. I’m talkin’ homes baby, I’m talkin’ about you and me … great, I will be singing that All. Day! Love all those finds, I’m losing hours over there these days … my new obsession. 🙂
Thanks for introducing me to what will probably prove to be one of the greatest “time sucks” of my life now 🙂 Heading over to check it out!
The best thing about Hometalk is the community! It’s been fun having a place to hang out with fun salt and peppa fans like you 🙂

Let’s talk about homes baby…yep! Stuck in my head!!
these are so awesome but i have to go with door number 2!!!! do i win the grand prize (it’s always in back of door number 2 you know) i am in love with that one but think all the others are really cool too!!!! hugs…
I think I may be the only one who doesn’t know that song? Could it be that I’m that old? As usual, you dug up some amazing eclectic and amazing vintage posts from the amazing Hometalk site. It’s been a fabulous resource not just to share but to get answers and help I need as I strive to make my home a place I want to invite others to …
🙂
Linda
I love them all, but the door with sconces just takes my breath away!
I’ve been over to Hometalk and signed up. Honestly, I’m having trouble keeping up with my blog and there isn’t much time to keep up with Hometalk too. I’m trying though! Your house is stunning…I can see why you love it!
Oh nooooo, another cool thing I just have to do?! Somehow I have managed to skip out on facebook, but I know I’ll end up going over and getting lost in this. I’ll have to get on it and get over there. Sounds like it’s the place to be. Let’s see, when will I have time for that…oh yeah, if I get up at 4:30 instead of 5:30 maybe or go to bed at 1:00 a.m. instead of midnight. hee, hee…
I get their emails and love browsing all the projects. It’s good for looking up specific things, and maybe just getting lost for a little while when time allows 🙂
Love your blog. I’m a lifelong antiquer, and am making my passion for antiques a full-time business by selling antiques online. I’m blogging about my experiences at my brand-new blog, Wisdom Lane Antiques: wisdomlaneantiques.blogspot.com. Stop by!
Love the Improptu Salt n Peppa. Next week, Home Talk is on the list. You pushed it, pushed it real good!

Only because of all the lovely eye candy you provided will I forgive you for putting a terrible 90’s song in my head! 😉
Thank you so much for introducing me to this {horribly addictive but completely awesome} site! I actually posted about Hometalk on my blog today, since I used the community’s advice to finally remove some paint from my windows! http://sixteenfourteen.weebly.com/2/post/2012/07/how-to-remove-paint-from-window-glass-hometalk-fangirl.html
