Regrets, I’ve had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way
The words of the legendary Ol’ Blue Eyes sum up my blogging journey this last (almost) year.
My one year blogging anniversary is September 21 – the day I wrote my first post.
I had absolutely no clue what I was doing! Did I let that stop me? Of course not.
One thing I do know is that starting my blog is best thing I’ve ever done for myself.
That’s why I am so excited to share my blogging mistakes and how I overcame them, so …
I’m breaking out my inner Southern gal and gearing up for The Southern Bloggers Conference.
On October 12 & 13, swarms of women (and a few men) will descend upon Raleigh, NC to talk all things blogging and DIY.
Can you believe I’ll be among such a fabulous line up of speakers?
There’s Rhoda from Southern Hospitality who will share her amazing Blogging Journey.
Heather from At the Picket Fence will give us her insights on How to Find, Work With & Develop Long Term Relationships with Sponsors.
Karianne from Thistlewood Farm will present her 5 Proven Ways to Grow Your Blog.
And I’ll be sharing How to Avoid the Top Blogging Pitfalls (and I’ve fallen into quite a few).
And a fabulous new addition to the line up is Brittany from Pretty Handy Girl who will share her Thrifting Secrets.
There will be painting demos, food, frivolity, laughs, learning, free swag and prizes and it all culminates in a fun day of thrifting.
You don’t need to be Southern either (they’re welcoming a Jersey girl like me after all)!
I’m thrilled to offer an Eclectically Vintage reader a

I’d love to attend! Earlier this year I finally started a blog but only posted a few times. Need this conference to kick start me back into action!
I would love a chance to go to this conference, I started my blog last year and have only made one real post. This fall I will be posting on a regular basis. I have spent time over the summer reading blogs and getting a feel for where I want to take mine. This would be such a great place to meet and learn from many of the bloggers that I have been following.
I am relatively new to blogging and still learning my way around. I would love to go to the conference to continue learning how to improve my blog. Thank you!
I tweeted and shared on Facebook, too!

(and to meet some way cool people too!)
Whoo Hoo yes a chance to meet, greet and learn. I too am a year long blogger and made a life changing move with hubby to North Carolina and have blogged my adventure. I would like to learn more and grow my blog. Thank you for this great opportunity!! Di
I have my room now I need a ticket!! Can’t wait to be with my blog sisters and to learn some more blog ideas.
Shared it on facebook.
I would love to go to this conference. Thanks for offering the opportunity. Love your blog.
Amy B. just told me about this conference and I’m excited beyond words. I never knew this group existed.
I established my blog name (Loud Thoughts Studio) and was geared up to spend the summer setting up/starting my long planned blog…. major computer failure…. so here I am, no blog. If everything goes as expected, it will be up and running before the conference.
This conference is just what I need for gathering information, soaking up tips and tricks, acquiring new friends with blogging interest, finding support for my new venture, and falling into the big world of blogging inspiration. Being able to share others experiences of failure as well as success is a learning curve beneficial to all bloggers. Others obviously have the same passion as I do for blogging and I look forward to meeting each of you. Thanks to each of you who have made this conference possible.
Happy Blogging!
Kelly,
Oh, would I love to come to the conference! I have so much to learn and would love to meet you, Karianne, Rhoda, and the Picket Fence girls!

Can’t wait to meet you! You guys are all coming to shop at our store on Sunday!!
I would love to meet some blog friends, in real life !
Love!
I am new to the blogging-super-happy-land and I am hoping on getting help to get organized and get an idea of what I like… I really am looking at this like a full learning experience and I would appreciate the experience!
I would be over the moon to win a ticket to the conference. My two creative friends and I literally just signed a lease days ago on an old produce stand here in Raleigh with plans of turning it into a charming antique shop. We’re hard-working gals trying to make it work with the materials we have and we open our doors for business mid-October. We’re well aware that having a blog is a necessity in this business and we believe the experiences and knowledge we’ll gain attending your conference is exactly what we need to push us over the top. Please help us become a success story from your conference by granting us this ticket.
I Soo want to go! I’ve been blogging for almost a year now and really need help!
I found this give away about 12 days too late! Will anybody else be giving away tickets for the SBC? Such a great line up of speakers! And I am just a 4 hour drive away from Raleigh!
Hi Tricia – sorry you were too late! I think the ticket giveaways are over – but I hope to see you there! It’s going to be fabulous!
Kelly, did you announce the winner? I’m having trouble finding it on your blog.
