Exceptionally Eclectic – A Farmhouse Christmas

Christmas Farmhouse Tour at kellyelko.com

Life is good in an 80 year old Christmas farmhouse for Andrea and her family at Keeping it Cozy.

It’s especially cozy around the holidays with simple, natural decorations.

For less than $1,000, Andrea re-did her kitchen and managed to keep the original farmhouse sink that I covet.

What would you do it your father-in-law had a pile of 100 year old wood from an old chicken house?

Make a butcher block counter out of it, of course!

This rusted old table in the living room is the perfect centerpiece.

Great metal table and fireplace in this old farmhouse

Farmhouse Christmas - it's all in the details

Although this is off the Christmas tour, I had to share.

I wouldn’t complain about the laundry if I could do it in Andrea’s laundry room.

Organized Laundry Room - great open shelves and love the blue ceiling

What kid wouldn’t love their very own schoolhouse?  It’s an office now, but one day, Andrea has visions of it becoming an old schoolhouse with a modern touch.

A+ Andrea.

Even the shelves are cool – and the desk is built right into the wall to save space.

A little girl named Rosetta is moved out of her bedroom when guests arrive so they can enjoy the queen bed.

There’s even a place for Santa’s muddy boots.

I can see why Andrea won the Country Living Magazine lifestyle blogger of the year – this girl’s got farmhouse style.

Visit Keeping it Cozy for more of her fabulous farmhouse – she’s even baked up an amazing pumpkin bread.

  1. What a beautiful, cozy farmhouse . I want to come draw on that chalkboard in that little office/school room. Having Coffee table envy for that rusty goodness in her Living Room.

  2. Love the simplicity of this gorgeous farm house! I just discovered the Eclectic Homes link. I’m sleepy and need some rest (it’s 2 AM) I’ll be back tomorrow to check out the rest of the links!
