Exceptionally Eclectic – Home Made Happy Tour
Tricia of Our Home Made Happy lives on a farm with this view.
Along with an assortment of goats, chickens, and ducks, Tricia has seven home schooled kids. She still finds time to style her happy home.
She loves white.
She’s one organized gal too.
I guess with seven kids, she has to be!
Seven kids + seven silhouettes = one whimsical staircase.
What’s a house without lots of great books …
and a cozy spot to curl up.
The perfect family gathering spot.
And why not use an old window as a white board?
I’d love to create in her studio.
Stop by the Tricia’s farm at Our Home Made Happy to visit her and her menagerie.
It’s spring, there just may be a new baby chick hatching right now.

Oh, this belongs in Country Living magazine. Wow, seven kids.
Thank you for posting this site for us to go visit! It’s a wonderful and inspirational site. I also was so happy to see how she incorporated a corner cabinet into her kitchen. I have an antique coner cabinet inwhich I thought I was going to have to give up since we are redoing our kitchen, but now I’m going to put it into my plans!
It’s beautiful. Does Tricia make house calls? I would come corral all her menagerie, and 7 kids is right up my alley – in exchange she would come organize my house and style it. She should pack for an extended trip.
Bliss
Maybe you could both go on Wife Swap?!
I’ve never seen this blog before! How did I miss it? Going over to visit her now.

Omigoodness! When can I move in? This is one of the most beautiful homes I’ve seen. LOVE the kitchen!!!
Oh what a lovely home! Amazing collection of treasures.Feels like you could just curl up anywhere with a cup of tea and a good read. On another note…ready for a giggle Kelly? I went to a few thrift stores with my husband today and we totally scored! Two angel food cake pans, one bunt cake pan….$5.00 for all three! An egg scale and pie bird( can’t have too many ya know) $15.00 for the pair! Our Moms are getting the prettiest flower baskets this year. We had such a fun afternoon drilling the pans and planting the petunias and pansies in them. Thank you for all the amazing ideas. Hope you have a great Mothers Day!
I love her “view”! I would love to live in the farm. Love the colors in her home and the library is wonderful. I would love to have one in my home but would not like the task of dusting those shelves! Beautiful home!
I love looking at her decor style! It’s casual, varied, creative and just plain fun. Thanks for sharing her home with us.
The kitchen and dining room are amazing…and so organized. And to think, I have half the kids she does and twice the mess. I’m envious!
I love your home tours! It’s fun to see different decorating styles. This house is definitely Farmhouse Chic with a few unexpected twists. Beautiful home!
Does this family have 2 kitchens? Odd to see the dining room table go from an unfinished wood to painted white in a few pictures. Also, the picture of George Washington was awesome..! So awesome they have the exact same painting in their dining room and hallway. Interesting!
I believe she bought a new table Jen! I used photos from from different time periods on Tricia’s blog – as you can see from the moving George painting!
