Don’t you love these new vintage-style Ball blue mason pint jars.  They were made to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the first perfect mason jar introduced by the Ball brothers.

  44. First time to enter a FB giveaway. I enjoy your posts and had the opportunity to watch the container (non-traditional) video. The jars are beautiful!

  45. I figure that if I am still kicking at 100, I would like to go bungee jumping, or something that I would have been too scared to do during my “young” life!

  46. I’ll spend my 100th birthday on the dance floor. A sweeping waltz? A dramatic tango? A steamy salsa? By then, we’ll have been married 79 years–with miles and miles of dancing behind us! What better way to celebrate than cheek-to-cheek with the man I adore?

  47. For my hundredth birthday I would love to gather together with all of my family and just talk about the changes that I have seen and my love for them.

  48. I’d throw myself a party and have my guest wear clothing representing ever era I have lived. I can picture the 1960’s thru 2013 and it’s fun to think what the next 50 years will look like. Hey wait! maybe that will be the theme of this years Big 50 party. By George I think I’ve got it!!! Thanks for encouraging my creative party planning juices. And I know those ball jars will be a great addition.
    Karen

    Karen

  52. I pinned the pretty blue jars on Pinterest. They would look wonderful with sunlight shinning through them.

  53. Is it bad to say I don’t want to live to be 100? Unless I was in great health and everybody I loved was still around with me! If I did live that long I’d want my family around me and that would be all I’d need!

  54. Love the jars and even more what you have done with them! Inspirational as always!

What would I do to celebrate my 100th birthday, hmmm, I am thinking kiss a 25 year old! Oh my that was out loud! 🙂

  57. I am so busy being a mom and sometimes the things I want to do, gets out weighed by the kids wants and needs. For the 100 days leading up to my 100 year birthday. I would do 100 things I have always wanted to do one per day. Then on my actual birthday I would have a huge party with my family where I jump out of the cake! 🙂

  58. On my 100th birthday I would have a barn dance with my entire family (which I hope would incluse LOTS of grandchildren and great grandchildren and maybe great great grandchildren I would have to do the math ha!) and have the Junk Gypsies decorate it (I just saw their show on HGTV or the first time today.)

I can’t believe they’ve been around for 100 years and we are still using them, yet in so many different ways than they were originally designed for. : ) My grandmother would be laughing knowing I’ve raided her old jars and am using them for decor now. LOL

  61. I love these! I think this will be something cool for my new dorm this fall!

To celebrate my 100th birthday, I’d travel to 100 diverse cities around the world to see historical/famous landmarks and participate in their culture!

  66. If I live to be 100, I will eat an entire bag of animal crackers! I could do so right now but at that point I don’t think I will be too concerned with my figure. 🙂

  67. You cannot beat the versatility of a good canning jar. I really “relish” these new “old” blue jars. They are “Jam up and Jelly tight.” They way you have used them for hanging vases is ingenious, Kelly.

  71. For my 100th birthday, I would gather all my family, grandkids, great grandkids, and any friends that are lucky enough to still be alive and have a giant whoop dee doo birthday bash. If I live to be 100, I hope I can enjoy my own rockin birthday party!

  77. If I lived to be a 100, on my 100th Birthday, I’d take a long nap after eating a huge slice of Texas Chocolate Sheet Cake. When I turn 100 I hope to be fortunate enough to enjoy the company of my family in a peaceful setting so I can tell all the stories of growing up… as I never had the forethought to ask my parents of the special stories of their childhoods… one of my biggest regrets. Funny how life gets in the way of the things that should mean the most.

Unlike the others, I am not here for the mason jars, as lovely as they are. I am here solely to wax poetic about your lovely home. I saw your feature on The Old Painted Cottage and had to pop right on over to tell you how much I appreciate your home, your style, and your attention to detail. {Sigh} I’m looking around, and although I am making progress on my little rental, it still doesn’t speak Me in quite a few areas. Well, that is one of the beauties of blogging and reading blogs; lots of inspiration with every turn. Thanks for sharing your talents!
