Eclectic House Tour – Nimble with Colorful Decor
You know I heart color.
It makes me happy.
It obviously makes Jesse of Scout and Nimble happy too because her house is a kaleidoscope of well placed pops of colorful decor.
The white kitchen, gray walls and fun lighting make room for any color combination.
Like this green chest, gray table and black chairs.
Emerald and leopard print – doesn’t every girl needs some of each!
Love the DIY cork board – very Curella De Vil (but not in a twisted, hurting puppies sort of way).
Need large scale art but it’s not in the budget?
Whip up your own Jackson Pollack like art (and you won’t believe the unusual thing she used to frame it).
Welcome to the boudoir.
How cool is that eclectic gallery wall!
It’s time to think outside the closet and jazz it up with a fun pattern.
Why not turn your wedding song into a piece of art – love this idea.
Even the kids are in on the fun design action.
Stop by Scout and Nimble to see more of Jesse’s colorful home and projects.

Great tour Kelly! – I’m on my way over there to take a look around!!
This decorator is very skillful at putting all kinds of designs and colours together and ending up with a beautiful and cohesive space. I’ve really enjoyed seeing this home. Thanks for the tour!

Love the pops of colour!! What a great house tour!
What a great home tour!! I loved the kitchen, dining room, family room, kids room and that closet. OK I pretty much loved it all.
Loved everything about this home!! So pretty and colorful!! 🙂
Lots of great color…that closet is to die for!
Love the harlequin-pattern cabinet and the enlarged sheet music art! It’s really too funny, though, to see all over Pinterest the wallpapered accent walls–again. When we moved into our 1974-built home in 1995, almost every room had one of these, and it was sooooo yesterday at the time! The paper all came down in the remodeling and we cheered the effect of uniformly painted walls. Now design pressure mounts to redo. Hmmmmm. Since I did all the removal, maybe I’ll just wait till the fashion goes out again!
I love your home! I stumbled upon your blog as I was looking for some inspiration to refinish a dining room set and I’ve become obsessed with the color of your dining chairs. I’ve been through a million different chips and samples and can’t seem to get it quite right. Would you please share the paint color? It would save me from insanity… 🙂
Love all your decor. Your home is beautiful. I just found your blog and love all your wonderful ideas. Have a great weekend.
Can you tell me what kind of wood and color the beams are in the first photo on the site.
