  2. The best handmade gift I have ever received was a pair of earrings made by my grandmother. Thanks for the giveaway!

  3. A Christmas bow magnet and pillow that my sons made for me when they were in grade school. I still use them today and those boys have grown. One is now an attorney and the other a deputy sheriff. I think they wish I didn’t display them, but then again, I think they love the fact that I do! : )
Thanks for the giveaway. I love them!!

  4. My 81 year old daddy does woodworking. I think my favorite gift is my kitchen island. But, he also made a butcher block table for me using the legs of my grandmother’s kitchen table.

  5. My favorite gifts that I have received are the Christmas ornaments that my children made when they were small.
I can’t get the Pinterest links from your Rafflecopter to work….

    Awesome giveaway… thanks Ladies!

  9. The best handmade gift I ever received was when my husband and I were dating. He is a welder and he knew I loved sunflowers. So he welded me this crazy flower. It stood on a stand and was like 2.5 feet tall. (Where do you put a solid metal 2.5 foot flower?) lol It was the most thought out and sweetest gift I ever had gotten. I didn’t care if it didn’t make sense in my space or the fact it looked more like a daisy than a sunflower. It was the most beautiful flower I had ever set my eyes upon. hehehe See why I married the guy? 😉

  10. A lovely quilt my grandma made. She gave it to me a month before she died. It’s very special to me. She used fabrics from all sorts of special outfits and mementos.

He would buy these leather wallets for himself. He always would let my sister and I pick something out. This past year both my parents passed and while going through trunks upstairs I found my mom saved them for us. I found a leather purse that is just beautiful that I had forgot about. We were all so excited to see what she had made and to mix and match them with such vivid 9 year old imagination! My Grandfather also used to craft and whittle gifts for us and we treasured those as well. 56. The best handmade gift I ever received was a comforter my mom sewed and then hand tied for me about 15 years ago. It’s on my bed now keeping me warm and all cozy these winter nights.

  57. Kinda sad to say… I don’t think I’ve ever received a handmade gift… Though my friends & family aren’t as crafty as these ladies! I help my mom make a bunch of different cookies as gifts for their neighbors & two do the same for them. But that’s it!!

  69. I have several gifts that were handmade and are very special to me…..my husband makes beautiful wooden bowls. They will be family heirlooms!

  70. The best homemade present I’ve received was 2 Christmas’s ago. My the 7 & 5 yr old daughters and hubby made me each a 2.5′ card and drew pictures and embellished with yarn, glitter, googly eyes, etc. I still have them. Now, every year they make me cards as I love them so very much. It takes them days to make and I cherish the time and love the put into it.

  71. I believe handmade/homemade gifts are the most wonderful of all. One of my most favorite gifts have been the four heirloom quilts my Mom passed on to me recently. They were made long ago by my grandmother and great grandmother. When I think of the hours of stitching and work that went into each incredible quilt, I’m just awed! They’re extremely special. I’ve also been so pleased to receive a hand crocheted throw from my Mom, cut out & painted wooden cat silhouettes from my brother, handmade sterling and bead jewelry, homemade fudge and cookies from my girlfriends and family for holiday and birthday gifts. Each so very special because they took their time and used their talents to make them just for me. I’ll take handmade over store bought anyday!

  80. A few years ago, there was a Santa print at pottery barn. I loved it, but didn’t want to spend the money on it. My youngest daughter painted it for me on canvas. It is definitely one of my prized possessions.

  83. The best homemade gift I ever got was a beautiful crocheted scarf from my twin sister, who is now in heaven. I miss her dearly. Lost her to renal failure 5 years ago. But I carry her with me every day—after all, she is my twin. <3

      1. Thank you Kelly. It was very hard on me. I took care of her 24/7 for two years. I was even at the hospital tending to her, and at the nursing home as well. Nursing homes are understaffed, and my sister had c-diff (serious bacterial infection) and needed cleaning every 15 min. So I stayed with her continuously to make sure she was being taken care of. And when she was at home I had a baby monitor in hers & my room so I could hear her. Yes, it was tough, but if I had the chance to do it all over again, I would do it in a heartbeat. That’s how much I loved my sister, and that’s how much I love all my family, and best friends too.

  84. The Best Homemade Gifts I’ve Ever received were Christmas ornaments made by my children when they were young and in Grade school.. I still have them.I still hang them up every year.

  85. Homemade chocolate chip cookies and a glass bottle of milk delivered on Christmas Eve by our neighbor’s children…so sweet!

  87. One of the best handmade Christmas presents I received was a Christmas tree made from an old quilt with a candlestick base.

  88. My “kids” are 25, 23, and 20. I cherish the cards and ornaments they made for me when they were little. And especially the “recipe” for chocolate chip cookies that my son gave me when in first grade. “Cook for 500 minutes.” 🙂 Cherished memories!

  89. I’ve been blessed to born into a family of crafters and quilters. I have so many beautiful and precious items made by both my grandmothers and my grandmother-in-law that it would be impossible to pick a single item. I would have to say the best gift would have to be their patience in teaching me.

  90. One of my favorite pictures of myself as a child has always been one where I am sitting on a green blanket that my grandmother crocheted. 3 years ago, she gave me that blanket for Christmas! I’ll always remember that day and I will always cherish this blanket!
Thank you for the chance to enter!

  91. Wonderful giveaway, Kelly. Thanks! My favorite handmade gift was the first winter scarf my daughter had every crocheted: a little lumpy, a little lopsided, but soon a favorite of mine!

  92. Oh! What a great give-away. I would love the burlap bag, a piece of jewelry, a sign to hang…..or one of each!!! Thanks for the opportunity to win! LindaC
