Eclectic Home Tour – The Wood Grain Cottage

Farmhouse tour of The Wood Grain Cottage

Shayna of The Woodgrain Cottage is a real farm girl.

She lives in Colorado …

Farmhouse in a cornfield

joy rides around the corn fields on one of these …

then removes her muddy boots to decorate up a storm.

There really is no place like home.

Open kitchen shelves - perfect for display
Beautiful dining room - love the built in window seat

This makes me want to do load after load of laundry  – almost.
Love the plank wall in this laundry room and the chicken wire chandelier!

I have no idea where she got all of the driftwood to make this mirror but I love it and I’m a sucker for a campaign dresser.

Fun DIY driftwood mirror and love the campaign dresser

White makes a rustic piece of wood take center stage.

Plank wall bathroom with rustic towel holder

Love this white bathroom console

Every bathroom needs a ladder.

Bathroom ladder is perfect for storage

Love this genius idea of using a slab of wood as a bench.

Make a floating wooden bench

Even Shayna’s shed has style.

Cute little shed

Don’t have a vintage grain sieve?  Don’t dispair – just make your own knock off grain sieve chandelier.

Need an orb to complete your planter?  Whip up your own wire orb.

I’ve been wanting to make a few concrete pots of my own – love the texture.

You sure are good at these home tours. Love them all, boy do they have a great home. She must have to work hard to keep it so nice. I was drooling over all the wire baskets ( among many other things) she has in several rooms. I’m going back thru photos again, see what I missed. So much pretty. Love the look of all that land.
We live out in country, after living on 20 acres in MT I can’t stand living in a town anymore. Before MT we lived in east county of San Diego. Where our 1/2 acre is was the original township of Loma, CO We’re on western side of Rockies. After MT we lived on 1 1/2 acres in western KY, now here in CO. I Like CO but I’d rather go back to MT, only thing is we wouldn’t be able to have what we had.
Are you and your family doing anything fun this weekend? Hope so. Happy weekend.
