Dining Room Update and Amazing Giveaway!

Lacefield Designs Curtain Giveaway - your choice of any color, pattern and size! kellyelko.com

There are two types of people in the world.

Curtain people …

and non curtain people.

I was always the former and didn’t think anyone or anything could change my mind.

But I soon realized that my dining room was lacking something.

It needed oomph, pizazz, drama, pattern.  It needed something to soften the lines of the windows.  It needed something to make people want to linger over a glass (or bottle) of wine.

Once I spotted these gorgeous Lacefield Designs curtains, I fell to my knees and became a curtain convert.

Lacefield Designs has beautiful fabric, pillows, rugs and my favorite – ready to hang drapes.

Love the drama of the double lanterns, beautiful drapes, cowhide rug and mismatched furniture in this gorgeous dining room kellyelko.com

I absolutely love the fun pattern and color and the fact that they are fully lined.  I chose Marrakesh drapery panels in indigo but this pattern comes in other colors and the quality is amazing.

Love this eclectic dining room - a perfect mix of industrial, traditional, farmhouse and modern kellyelko.com

I have big plans for the empty walls (coming soon) but I think the curtains add such style that even bare walls look great!

Love this eclectic dining room - the cowhide rug, farmhouse table, double lanterns and beautiful curtains kellyelko.com

Love the drama that these curtains add to this eclectic dining room kellyelko.com

I can’t stop staring into the room every time I walk by.

Love the drama these blue marrakesh ikat curtains add to this beautiful dining room kellyelko.com

The curtains came ready to hang.  I just had to find the perfect curtain rods and rings (love these rods from HomeGoods with crystal finials that remind me of old glass doorknobs).

Wow - what a difference curtains make in a dining room! kellyelko.com

  8. I was just like you not interested in drapes, they were only dust catchers. But I have seen the light so to speak. Sometimes it takes drapery panels to finish off a room or to add that missing element.

Lacefield had me with their Merrakesh blue. Who does not love an ikat pattern. Oop I forgot the length.
I will be sure to have that info when you email me the winning announcement.

Ps love your home and style. Thus is not meant as a suck up comment, I really do

  9. Having just redecorated my living room, I am in desperate need of new curtains – I love the Malta in Spring! Following Lacefield on Facebook too!

    Your dining room looks fab!

  10. Hi! I checked out the curtains and I would choose Malta Spring in 108 in. length. Thanks for the great giveaway!

  11. The Amalfi panels would look incredible in our dining room! Since we just moved in, every single window is bare. I always have such a hard time finding curtains that I love. Lacefield Designs makes the choice so easy!

  12. All of their panels are just amazing…. BUT… I have fallen in love with the very pair you chose…. Marrakesh ….:) … I have a thing for blue and white!! lolol… this is a wonderful give away!!!

  13. I follow and like (actually love) Lacefield. I would go with Southampton in sand or pumice for my bedroom!

  14. Wow!! These curtains are gorgeous! I like the Marakesh and the South Hampton. I like the pillow, I like it all.
We are currently putting in new flooring and this would look amazing! Good luck every one!

  15. I love the Amalfi drapery pattern in green. I’m actually shopping for new curtains as I remodel my living room this summer – I do hope I win!!!

  16. I love them all, but I think the Zoe in Zinc would be perfect! I love your new draperies! They look wonderful in your room and make all the difference in the world. Can’t wait to see what you’ve got coming next for us. You’re always so full of awesome designs and fun!

  17. I’ve liked Lacefield on Facebook and am now following them. Thanks again for introducing them to us!

  18. Love the Zoe in Zinc! You did a wonderful job with the drapes, I am not a drapery fan but I really liked what you did… You might have converted me.

  19. I had never heard of Lacefield draperies and was impressed with the selection and the apparent quality of their curtains. My favorite was the Marrakesh Panel in graphite. Such a whimsical print! I have been working on a special decorating project— my own private little sewing room. All I need in order to finish up are curtains! There are 2 large french doors that open to an upstairs deck to my room. Just outside the doors are hanging wisteria vines and night blooming jasmine below in the court yard. It would be like a dream to look up from my sewing machine, have the french doors wide open, and see the Marrakesh drapes floating in the breeze. As I sew quilts for my precious grandbabies, I could see the deep purple wisteria blooming just past the graphite Lacefield drapery and perhaps the scent of jasmine lingering in them. Hey, thanks a chance to win these lovely draperies, if only in my imagination!

  20. Beth Lacefield is an amazing person and designer! I have seen her work in person, and it is all so beautiful!

I love the Malta Panels in Spring! Would be great to mix and match in a room!

  21. I would select the Amalfi Glass drapers. Even though I am more of a Marrakesh type of person, I feel the Amalfi is what my room needs now. Thank you for introducing us to this line. Blessings

  22. I love the Amalfi drape in every color–too hard to choose and would look great in any room in my house! Beautiful drapes.

  23. I’m torn between the Marrakesh and the Zoe in the gray shades or blues. Your make over looks so beautiful.

  24. Wow! Those are absolutely gorgeous!!! If I win, it’s a toss up between Zoe in Navy or Marrakesh in Indigo.

  25. I’ve been a big fan of Lacefield Designs for a while now and love pretty much every curtain panel in every color they make! But if I had to make a choice right now it would be the Malta in Capri. Love yours too though! Thanks for the opportunity and fingers crossed!

  26. I’m a recent convert to curtains….I was a prodigy of ” 80’s country blue”….and when it was all out of my house, I was so happy. And now I’m falling for touches of blue again!! I would LOVE to win a pair of the Malta Capri….and in my newly decorated bedroom they would go!!

  27. I would choose the Malta Drapery Panels, 96″ length, in the Capri color. Thanks so much for the giveaway!

  28. Right now I’d choose the Southampton for my dining room but since I’m hoping to redo it in the near future I might want to change it! Then again, maybe I’ll make my plans with Southampton in mind since I like it so much!

  29. I would love the southhampton in Admiral love the stripes and color. It would add a bit of whimsy to
    A boys bedroom .

  30. Adore the Southhampton in Admiral. Would be great for drapes or an outer shower curtain. FB follower for Lacefield designs!

  32. I love your dining room. These curtains are amazing! Southampton in pumice or Amalfi in green are my favorites.

  33. I am following on Facebook. These curtains are amazing and I am pinning from Eclectically Vintage like crazy!

  34. I love the Southhampton in admiral. They almost make you feeling like saluting- nothing like navy and white stripes!

  35. Would definitely choose the Merrakesh panels in the Cobblestone color. They’d be PERFECT for our dining room! Thanks for the fabulous offer!

  36. Oh these are so beautiful! I think I would choose the amalfi in glass (or Marrakech in indigo?) hard decision!

  37. Love your updated Dining Room! Just painted mine, and would love a pair of Zoe panels in Navy to replace the outdated swag/jabots that have been adorning my windows for the past 18 years. Yikes!

  38. I NEED these panels!! We just moved in and I have zero curtains. The Marrakesh Indigo Batik would look amazing in my dining room. Fingers double crossed!

  39. I love the curtains that you ordered, but I really love the Amalfi with glass (tape)….. so pretty!!!

  40. Your dining room looks beautiful! I’m thinking I would go with either the Marrakesh in graphite or the SouthHampton in pumice. They’re all beautiful!

  41. Love of marrikesh indigo blinds you chose!! This is my entry I’m sensing a color change to my nursery!!!

  42. Love these curtains! You have inspired me to do the same! I am following Lacefield designs on Facebook 😉

  43. Were I to win, I believe would go with the Danish linen of the Amalfi Drapery with the green tape; the 96 inch length would ideal on the tall patio doors in my living room. The lined drapes would also afford me complete privacy from any nosey neighbors or a random peeping tom!!! Ha!!!

  44. Beautiful! We have such neutral deco…I would have to choose the Amalfi in Charcoal. Such a great giveaway!

  45. Okay, I had a really hard time narrowing down my favorite pattern, because I loved them all. I finally narrowed it down to the Malta Drapery Panel and then I decided to go bold with the mulberry colorway! Fingers crossed!

  46. These are stunning! I could use the MALTA in Mulberry in our office (they would make me work harder!). Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!
