Exceptionally Eclectic – Southern Charm House Tour

3 friends from across the country – coming together on one fabulous blog.

That’s 11 Magnolia Lane.

Christy was lucky enough to rent …

(my rentals never looked like this)

this fabulous house when she lived in North Carolina.

Welcome to this 1915 Colonial Revival with charming details including the unique sidelights and shutter hardware.

And doesn’t every southern house need a screened in porch (and a cute vintage table set)?

  1. Gorgeous home… loved everything about it! I live in NC and I want to move there!! Thanks for sharing…

  2. A rental?! Oh my goodness the house is gorgeous with those stunning details. And Christy certainly worked her magic making a rental property a lovely and gracious *home*, which despite how lovely the structure is to start with, still requires a lot of love and a great eye. BTW Kelly, love your new blog design … fresh, snappy and eclectic. Hope you have a great weekend. Robin

  3. This is gorgeous! Hard to believe that it’s a rental. Thank you for sharing it with us, Kelly.

  4. Thank you for the feature, Kelly! We sure do miss that gorgeous old house (sigh). Everyone always wonders how we scored such an amazing rental–we rented from friends so the house was never on the market. When we moved down to Nashville, they sold it (another sigh). What a privilege and blessing to live there, though!

Thank you for letting us share the spotlight with some amazing homes and decor in your Eclectic Homes series!

  5. Robyn Spencer says:

That was certainly a beautiful home and my family was lucky enough to spend many weekends there with the Black family… lots of fond memories of that home and the company held inside. Beautiful!!!

  6. Lucky Bliss! And lucky Christy. What a gorgeous rental. I never lived in a rental like that, either.

  7. A rental? Seriously? I have never seen a rental that looked like this before! I think I need to move to NC :)

  8. Oh my gracious! That staircase in two of those pictures is absolutely AMAZING!! GORGEOUS!!

  9. Such a pretty home! And that playhouse…wow. Very impressed with her organization skills!! Oh, and I need the little wet bar ;)
